I finished The Many Lives and Secret Sorrows of Josephine B by Sandra Gulland.

This was a great book.  I never really knew much about Josephine Bonaparte, especially her life before becoming Napolean's wife.  This book told of her life up until she married Bonaparte.  She was a remarkable woman.  I thoroughly enjoyed this read and definately recommend it to those of you who especially like reading about historical events and people.
I give it 4 stars!

These are my 3 greatest JOYS!

I HAD to put this one in for obvious reasons!

Another Girls Choice Dance

The doorbell rings, Logan answers the door, alas, another girl (this time from Bountiful's Viewmont High) asking him to her "Harvest Dance."
He replied by carving out a pumpkin, putting letters YES inside the innards and putting them back in the pumpkin.  He tied a ribbon around the pumpkin and wrote, "Look inside to find my answer if you have the GUTS"

Logan's 1st Dance (Girls Choice)

Getting on the Frontrunner and headed to SLC to City Creek for a scavenger hunt, then to Cheesecake Factory for lunch!

This was Logan's 1st school dance.  Holly Chadburn lives in Ogden and she asked him to her Girls Choice Deer Hunt Dance.  They are good friends and they had a fun time together.  Their group had 7 couple in it and Logan didn't know any of them except for Holly and her friend Erika.  He said he loved the group and they all had a great time.
They met up again at Holly's house in Ogden then headed off to a friends house where they made "Hobo Dinners."  Then to the dance then they all went to a corn maze to top off the evening!

It's a "BEAD" iful day!!

Can I just say, that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these girls!  They are a joy to me!

Mine is the hairy arm, LOL
The girls wanted to make VALUE BRACELETS, so off we went.  They had a great time....creating.  On the way home, the girls informed me that the Krispy Kreme "light" was on. ???  Apparently, you get a free donut, so in we went.  It was Autum's first KK experience:)  We giggled and laughed on the way home and Autumn said, "I hope I'm as funny as you when I'm as old as you."  HMMMM......Thanks, Autumn, you're awesome!  I guess I'll take that as a compliment:)  We dropped off Ashlee and Heather's bracelet that we made for them and home we went.

You know you're getting old when.....

you can't keep track of what, when and how many pills you've taken, so you have to graduate to a......PILL BOX!

Up, Up and Away....

This is what I woke up to on a bright, beautiful, Sunday morning.  I could almost touch it:)

YW Clothing Swap

The Beehives put together a clothing swap for mutual.  All the girls brought clothes, hats, belts, shoes, scarves, jewelry, etc.  I even robbed from Caslyn and Kinsie.

SUCCESS!
The girls all went away with some great finds.  Here they are with their "loot."  That Sunday, I saw many of the girls sporting some new looks:)

OUR NEW MECHANIC!

Caslyn noticed that her car was squeeling.  She asked her dad about it.  He said it was probably her brakes.  Sure enough!  She wanted to be a "big" girl and fix her own car, (with the assistance of her daddy, of course).  First off, she needed to look professional.  Rick gave her a jumpsuit like the one he wears when he works on the cars.  She was stylin'.
She took the brakes pads off, went to the auto part store, put the new ones on and took her car for a test drive.....PERFECT.... Now she's ready to roll!

Logan's 1st Dance

"Logan, get the door!"  I said, as someone was ringing the doorbell.  So Logan opened the door to find this on the porch.  He was being asked to the fall dance by Holly Chadburn (a friend of his who lives in Odgen).  I then looked at him when he deciphered who it was and I asked, "are you ok with this?"  His reply, "Oh Yes!" with a smile.

He answered her back by spraying YES in silly string on her house and leaving her a "pile" of  deer droppings (Milk Duds).  The sign read, "to end the deer hunt, follow the dropping to find my answer."  Cheesy but cute!  Needless to say, they are both excited.
To find out her name, Logan turned over the cake and on the bottom were pennies wrapped up in tin foil.  He had to unwrap the pennies and unscramble the letters.  Kinsie actually figured it out.  That's my smarty pants, Kins!
